What the Steam page checker reviews

Six checks. Specific next steps.

A complete Steam listing is the starting point. Use these checks to spot missing information, then review how clearly your page explains the game.

Public listing and team

Confirm Steam returns a public store page, genre and developer details. A missing response can mean the page is private, unavailable or temporarily unreachable.

Descriptions and clarity

Count the characters in the short description and About section. Use the Steam description checker to review your copy next.

How to use your report

  1. Scan the public store page using its App ID or URL.
  2. Start with checks marked “Review.” Verify the finding in Steamworks.
  3. Check the description, artwork and screenshots from a new player's perspective.
  4. Revise one element, publish it on Steam, then scan again after the public data updates.

What the scan cannot tell you

A public Steam page does not reveal your private wishlists, impressions or conversion rate. This checker cannot predict sales or show why every player leaves.

Listed artwork is not a guarantee of good design. Use capsule A/B testing for participant feedback, and your own Steamworks reports for actual performance.

Steam page analyzer questions

Is this Steam page analyzer really free?

Yes. Run the public scan without creating an account. A free Indiely workspace is optional for saving projects and using the wider toolkit.

Can I analyze a Coming Soon game?

Yes, if Steam returns a public store listing for it. Unreleased pages may lack price, screenshots or other details. Review missing fields in context rather than treating them as automatic failures.

Is this a Steam SEO score or a conversion prediction?

No. The report checks the availability and length of public fields. It does not measure Steam search ranking, predict wishlists or replace a human review of your game's positioning.

Why does a scan fail or show old information?

Check that you entered the game App ID rather than a package, bundle or community URL. Steam can be temporarily unavailable. Public source data may be cached for several minutes after you update the store page.

What should I improve after the scan?

Start with missing fields. Then review your capsule at thumbnail size, make the description explain the player action, and show varied gameplay screenshots. Organize the remaining tasks with the Steam launch checklist.
